Brook Building Inspections first started back in 1988 in the beautiful city of Hamilton located in southern Ontario. The company's president Ralph Brook who also owns and operates Brook and Brook Building Consultants a diverse consulting engineer firm which mainly deals with commercial, industrial and institutional inspections and investigations for litigation or cost engineering. During this time Ralph continually received requests for his company to perform inspections on residential dwellings from investors and home buyers, because no one had his experience or knowledge to conduct a thorough unbiased inspections of this nature.

Seeing a growing demand for residential inspections through Brook & Brook Building Consultants, Ralph and his son Colin Brook decided to create a separate division strictly dedicated to home inspections and thus Brook Building Inspections was brought to light. Although the name has changed over the years from Building Inspection and Engineering Associates to HomeInspectors Inc. we are pleased that our new name reflects the names of the inspectors that the real estate industry is constantly asking for.

Brook Building Inspections has been so successful that they only conduct residential inspections through this company, but commercial inspections are still available through Ralph's engineering company "Brook & Brook Building Consultants".

It has been a long journey but his clients and colleagues thank Ralph staying the course, because his experience is what sets our company apart from all others.
